Free accredited courses

MEDIC is currently offering several free courses on medicinal cannabis accredited by both Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

These one-hour courses are accredited with ACRRM for 1 PDP point, and 2 CPD Activity points with the RACGP for the 2020-22 triennium.

These courses cover the fundamentals of medicinal cannabis, including an overview of the endocannabinoid system, safety and, clinical considerations when prescribing, and evidence supporting its use in a variety of different indications.

Althea is an Australian-owned licensed importer and producer of medicinal cannabis based in Victoria. Althea is dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals seeking information about, and access to, medicinal cannabis as a treatment option for eligible patients.
